Junior League of Cedar Rapids (JLCR) is a women's leadership organization dedicated to providing our members with the training they need to succeed - as community volunteers, as an excellent source of experienced board members and in their careers.
New to Junior League?
We have the perfect opportunity for you - each fall we hold a special class for potential members to learn what being a part of our League is all about. Now is a great time to get more information about provisional class meetings. Our diverse membership is welcoming and open to all women committed to improving the community they live in.
How to Get Started:
Are you a League member moving to the Cedar Rapids area? If you're a non-profit looking for grant opportunities, please download a copy of our current grant application. Community Grant Deadline - Sept 8, 2008. Flood Relief Grant Deadline - October 1, 2008. If you're a local business looking for opportunities to sponsor community programs or get your employees involved in a fundraiser or work day, check out our current opportunities or contact us with a proposal. If you have a project you think Junior League of Cedar Rapids should consider taking on, our Project Research team would like to hear from you. Please provide us with your contact information
