On Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 JLCR was granted the priviledge of listening to Senator Charles Grassley discuss his advocacy regarding foster care reform. On Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 JLCR was granted the opportunity to listen to CASA representatives regarding Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA. CASA is a program in Iowa that operates under the Child Advocacy Board, which also administers the Citizens Fost Care Review Board (CFCRB), their sister volunteer program.
