Projects

Arc March

Members pass out bags at the annual Arc March at Lindale Mall.

HACAP Project

New Members collect toiletries for HACAP.

The Junior League of Cedar Rapids is known for rolling up our sleeves and making an impact in the Cedar Rapids community. The Madge Phillips Center, Old McDonalds Farm, the Science Station — each of these were past initiatives of the Junior League of Cedar Rapids.

Each year we donate over 2000 hours working on projects to improve our community. Projects include monthly “Done in a Days” as well as larger year-long projects. Projects are researched and voted on by our members and selected to reflect our mission. JLCR also provides trained volunteers to a variety of organizations in the area.

Be on the watch for a new project to be announced in early 2011!
