LPGA FUTURES Tour

The Ladies Titan Tire Challenge is one of 17 tournaments on the LPGA’s Developmental Tour – the LPGA FUTURES Tour. Known as the “Road to the LPGA”, The Tour enters its 32nd season in 2012.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins with 150 professionals and competition is narrowed to the top 70 plus ties. Titan Tire International and Junior League of Cedar Rapids (JLCR) are delighted to bring a dynamic and exciting women’s professional golf tournament to the greater Cedar Rapids area. With over 350 volunteers, and over 40 sponsors and contributors, it has truly become a community-wide event.

The 2012 tournament will mark the fourth annual Ladies Titan Tire Challenge. The tournament will be held at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, Iowa. The exciting week of events will feature a FREE junior clinic, a women’s clinic, Pro-Am events, and 3 days of professional play on Friday – Sunday.

In 2011 JLCR raised over $25,000 from this one-of-a-kind event.  These funds are put directly toward JLCR’s community projects.
