Junior League of Cedar Rapids and Foundation 2 Crisis Services are partnering to serve young people aging out of foster care for our fourth annual Stuff the Truck fundraiser!
Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd to ‘stuff the truck’ with requested basic living supplies to support young people establishing independence after foster care. The suitcases contain basic necessities for independent living – perhaps items that a family member or loved one helped you get for your first apartment. Each suitcase is valued at approximately $700.
It’s Time To Stuff The Truck!
Help support our Apartment in a Suitcase program by donating brand-new items on our “most needed” list. These items will help stock our Apartment in a Suitcase packs for young people aging out of foster care in our Fostering Futures’ program.
We will be collecting items and filling a box truck (courtesy of our friends at Van Meter) between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm at Craft’d at 333 1st St SE, Ste 100, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.
